Do we need to now remember to check e-mail (which at least come to the individual) and a web site? Please lets not confuse capability with clear communication. One place everyone knows to get info is better than a heap of different places, Blog, Website, E-mail, GT - how will it be known which is the "correct or up to date" version. My request is that it is made clear which is the barony's primary communication place. I fully understand that a blog is a keep in touch tool but please don't let it replace existing information systems or if it will please make that clear as well. KISS is a great principle.
